KENEX NTR chlorine neutraliser

The KENEX NTR chlorine neutraliser is a versatile product that also neutralises the product DETIAL D-70-TR, and is recommended to use in water circuits.

Current legislation, to prevent outbreaks of Legionella, makes compulsory the treatment of all plants susceptible to propagate this bacteria (cooling towers, evaporative condensers, evaporative cooling devices, hot water distribution systems, etc.).

The most widespread treatment is the chlorination and hyperchlorination of the systems, which the current legislation regulates, and obliges to the removal of chlorine remains before the discharge. For this, it is essential to use products such as KENEX NTR, specially formulated for this purpose.

Instructions:

• Three hours after treatment with Legionella, KENEX NTR is added in sufficient quantity to neutralize chlorine or peracetic acid, and it is recirculated throughout the system.
• The amount of product to be added in kilos is calculated by multiplying 0.005 by the cubic meters of water to be neutralized and by the concentration (ppm) of chlorine or peracetic acid present in the water to be neutralized.
• The system is then emptied and rinsed.
• It is specially indicated to eliminate chlorine and peracetic acid residues in the processes of treatment against Legionella of water of risk systems as: cooling towers, evaporative condensers, evaporative cooling apparatus, etc.
